Circular innovation hubs integration

Objective

In this task, a software application is developed specifically targeted to exploit the DigiPrime platform federation-based architecture to support the operation of distributed Circular Innovation Hubs.

Methodhology

Circular Innovation Hubs are designed as distributed pilot facilities to serve companies in multiple sectors solving sustainability-oriented problems by demonstrating innovative circular business cases and technologies, with the goal to de-risk the downstream private investments.

Outputs

In order to properly operate these networks the application developed in this task will provide capability (i) to approach and offer customized support services to the registered stakeholders, thus extending the user basis, including support for the operational governance of these networks while including new regional hubs, and monitoring activities of the hubs (ii) to visualise the pilot infrastructure capabilities related to the supported networks along their different sectorial nodes of the DigiPrime federation, and (iii) to communicate best practices and success stories throughout the pilot network operation.

Such distributed networks will expand in Europe and are promoted by different high-level initiatives including the Digital Innovation Hubs, and the Thematic Smart Specialisation Platforms.
