DigiPrime Open Calls: online portal for proposals submission

Welcome to the official DigiPrime Open Calls management portal.

With the aim of expanding the DigiPrime ecosystem, including “supply-side participants” that will contribute enhancements to digital platforms and pilot systems, and “demand-side participants”, that will use the services in the federation of platforms, DigiPrime foresees two kinds of open calls having different targets and financing amount.

Particularly, the DigiPrime Open Call Type B will finance:

  • proposals expanding the DigiPrime already existing Pilots to connect with sectors/pilots that provide or use materials, as well as components in/from the DigiPrime pilots;
  • proposals investigating new pilots focusing on the same components and materials of the DigiPrime already existing pilots, but exploring novel and different application contexts;
  • proposals focusing on totally new pilots.

The Open Call type B will finance sub-projects with a duration of 6 months, reserved to SMEs, as defined by the EU law (EC recommendation 2003/361/EU); and Consortia of SMEs, in line with Horizon 2020 Eligibility Criteria.

Technical details about the proposal’s application form

The proposal submission is managed by a dedicated application form, accessible by the link below. The form is divided in five parts. It is possible to partially fill different parts and move across them, using the “form parts bar” above the main form and the “previous-next buttons” below it. It is possible to save a draft of the proposal and to resume it by refreshing or re-accessing the form. The final submission is conclusive, and the proposal can’t be re-opened and changed after it. Automatically generated emails notify the user about the successful draft save and final submission.

Here some useful information about the five form parts:

  • Part 1 – Leading Company: requires information about the leading company of the proposal and the main contact person. The main contact person, as well as the email address, can differ from the ones used to create the platform account. Email notification about the draft save and proposal submission are sent to the email here inserted (main proposal submission form).
  • Part 2 – Other Companies: requires information about the other companies (if any, not mandatory) participating to the proposal.
  • Part 3 – Proposal Description: requires the name and short abstract of the proposal.
  • Part 4 – Annexes: requires the upload of the three mandatory documents which complete the proposal, namely the “Proposal Supplement”, the “SME Declaration”, and the “Declaration of Honor”. The first file must be uploaded in .pdf format, the other two can be uploaded in .pdf or common image format. The “SME Declaration”, and the “Declaration of Honor” must be signed and scanned before submission. The Annexes templates can be downloaded from this link: Annexes-for-Proposal-Submission.
  • Part 5 – Submission: requires the acceptance of the DigiPrime Open Calls terms and conditions and the declaration of proposal completeness before allowing the submission.
